Hi, my name is Melanie, a LMT in both Indiana & Kentucky. I'm a mother, a daughter, a friend to many and a person who believes wholeheartedly in the human experience. I have spent the last six years (to be really honest it‘s really been a lifetime) revisiting, unlearning and rewiring how to honor our human body in a more natural, sustainable way. Studying the brain/body connection has been instrumental in the way I integrate the techniques I use to serve you as a whole person. The most intriguing thing I‘ve learned is that our body has the ability to self-correct when provided with the proper tools, environment and support. I believe in growing not only as a person, but as a person with a passion for introducing you to the many approaches to becoming more you, unpacking and leaving behind what no longer serves you. I believe in resourcing and providing you with information to support you in reaching your goals. When you enter my place of practice you will be met with literature & pieces of art that tell human stories, feel free to explore the greeting area.

I m excited to announce that I have been approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs VA as a Community Care Provider for Massage Therapy in Region 2 Massage Therapy and care for our Veterans go hand in hand and can help with various physical injuries and other ailing conditions Chronic pain sleep disorders stress related issues and many other accepted diagnoses are now eligible for a Massage Therapy Research suggests Massage Therapy can be a viable alternative to treating pain and decreasing pain med usage potentially helping restore function to diminished activities of daily living thereby increasing quality of life and may even decrease some symptoms of PTSD

Steps to Approval:

Step One: Visit your VA PCP. The Veteran will need to visit their VA approved Primary Care Physician to assess if the Veteran may benefit from therapeutic massage.

Most Veterans Qualify

Step Two: The Primary Care Provider submits a request to the VA Medical Center to establish medical necessity for Massage Therapy. Once the VA facility receives the request, they determine the appropriate level of care coordination based on Veteran's needs, preferences, and location. They then develop a care plan and assist in scheduling, navigating, or other follow - up activities.

Step Three: Once the VA Community Care Center has approved the PCP request an authorization for care will be sent to Resolve Bodyworks. We Get You Scheduled! We will contact the Veteran to arrange for the initial appointment and subsequent visits. please do not hesitate to reach out to me
